Today, I watched the movie Confidence. It is one that I have been wanting to see for quite some time. It didn't really do much at the box office, but I think it was because the there were a bunch of blockbusters out at that time. Aside from the occasional jumpy cut for the sake of being fast-paced, it was a pretty good story. The dialogue ranged from really entertaining and sharp to silly and uninspired. Overall, I really enjoyed the movie and would recommend it. Edward Burns did a fine job as Jake Vig. The names were a bit silly Jake Vig, Lilly Finn - but a good film. Oh yeah, Dustin Hoffman was great as "the King."
