Big Giant Bust
Well, the Big Giant Button launched on the 27th with the idea that...
"Every day we link the Big Giant Button to a different site on the web. Press it each day and see what happens!"
Well, I'll tell you what happens? Three days into the "launch," it is still pointing to the same damn site - Curry.com. (Yes, Adam Curry's website.) The folks behind the BGB publicized the launch by sending an audio comment into Curry's podcast. Fine, link to his site - but come on... the ONE thing this button is supposed to do... IT DOES NOT DO!!
They say they are going to link us to a new piece of internet coolness each day and all we get is ONE SITE!!
I am sure that in the next day or two, someone over there will figure out how to edit html enough to change the link, but come on - is this any way to conduct a launch?

Hey CDogg!
I really appreciate the mention of Big Giant Button, but I really felt I had to make a correction here:
It's true that today (March 29) we are pointing to Adam Curry's site, but on the first two days we pointed to two different sites. While generally we won't post archives of past links, since it was actually in our press release I can tell you that we linked to the "Really Big Button That Doesn't Do Anything" at http://www.pixelscapes.com/spatulacity/button.htm on launch day. Also if you, ahem, "digg" around you'll be able to find out what people were seeing when they clicked the button on day two.
If you were seeing something different it might have been a caching issue or something, but I can assure you that everyone I got feedback from and anywhere we tested the site from (and believe me, we tested A LOT on days one and two!) went from the button to the sites they were supposed to at that time.
Please click again tomorrow morning and if you get Curry's site again, please drop me a line at info@biggiantbutton.com and we'll get right on it! I'd really appreciate your help on this, obviously we only have one thing on our site, so we want to make sure it works properly!
Thanks very much,
Button Guy
