Happiness is - a walk in the park

At 2,168 acres - Bear Creek Pioneers Park is a favorite spot for Lou and I to go for a walk. Add in an amazing cool morning and you have a trip worthy of a photo.

I try to spend a few hours each weekend outdoors with Lou because the sights, sounds, and smells seem to make him so happy. It is also a great time for thinking because I can't distract myself with email, television, etc. I think it recharges both of our batteries - well, based on how much Lou sleeps after the park, it may drain his. Bottom line - everyone can use some nature in their week and even when you're stuck in the concrete jungle of a big city... there are ways to ground yourself among the greenbelts, whether its a tiny urban nature park or over 2,000 acres.
