Sk*rt gets ripped - TipDish gets nod.
According to a post today on Domain Name Wire, Houston startups are both good and bad when it comes to choosing a URL.
The grand prize winner for bad domain names was Sk*rt's www.sk-rt.com, while one of the better ones was TipDish's www.tipdish.com.
So what do you think? I do agree that the dash makes www.sk-rt.com a bit confusing, but think its a great site run by a great person. When that happens, it doesn't matter what the URL is... people will come.

IMO both are stupid names. Tipdish?? what the heck does that mean?!? Is it like a restaurant where you leave your visiting card in the jar to earn a free lunch? What crap.
The other one is not even worth mentioning. Both of these outfits are nothing but fits of fancy.
