The trip - VI

The coolest thing about the trip had to be the fact that upon walking into the church, I realized that all of the windows inside had been designed by me. I worked as an artist for my parents stained glass studio and drew windows for so many churches that I had lost track of them all.

These windows were installed in 1986 after I drew them up and my brother created them and installed them. It was really cool seeing my work in the middle of nowhere.

This is the main window behind the altar and the most visually stunning. Along each side of the chapel there are a series of windows depicting different biblical stories/ideas. I took photos of all of them with my little camera and will upload them to Flickr after I get back to Houston.

You designed stained glass windows? You are truly a Renaissance man.

That's got to be the coolest thing to see your work after so long.
