Travels continue
I should get some sort of frequent driving miles for all the mileage I have rung up on the highway recently. Today, Ron and I headed over the Beaumont to capture some still and video shots. We are putting together a promotional video for the Beaumont Drillers indoor football team and needed some footage of the city.
I didn't think to snap any still photos of my own until the sun was starting to set.
Spindletop at sunset. Spindletop is the birthplace of the oil industry and there can be no more fitting icon for the Beaumont Drillers indoor football team video.

They were playing it at the Ford Center during the tryouts and at the press conference. (We added in more shots of Beaumont between the press conference and the tryouts.)
It will also be online at www.beaumontdrillersfootball.com after we launch the site.
