Gmail spammier?
I have always been a HUGE fan of gmail for two reasons, 1 - I can search all of my old emails (this absolutely ROCKS) and 2 - it does a great job of eliminating spam before it hits your inbox.
So whats up? I have been noticing a boatload of new spam recently. I mean, gmail is also catching more than ever before, but things are starting to get through in pretty large numbers. Are these bums all creating gmail accounts? Is there a new way they are gaming the system? Or maybe - the sheer volume of spammers has just increased perhaps?
Just wondering - have you other gmail users seen a rise in the incidence of spams making it all the way to your inbox?

I don't have a gmail account, but I've been getting more and more spam from gmailers these days. I used to put gmail on a pedestal, but spammers are going to dent gmail's reputation. I'm sure Google will be doing something to fight it.

Me too, Chris. The odd pass through is turning into a large number daily. It seems in the back of my brain, I remember this happening one time before for a week or so and it got back to normal. Here's hoping the same this time.

Yeah Larry, I hope it is just a lag between new spam techniques and Google's ability to lock them out.
